Mask Exemption

Please be advised that our GP’s will only issue a mask exemption certificate under the following circumstances:


You are a REGULAR patient, who is WELL KNOWN to the GP

AND

- Patient has a diagnosis from a RESPIRATORY SPECIALIST of severe respiratory disease deeming it unsafe for them to always wear a mask;

OR

- Patient has a diagnosis from a PSYCHIATRIST of claustrophobia or a similar condition where wearing a mask would case an exacerbation of their condition;

OR

- Patient has a diagnosis by a SPECIALIST of severe Autism, a severe disability or developmental delay where wearing a mask would not be tolerated


Please do not ask for a mask exemption certificate if you do not meet any of the above criteria, as your request will be refused. We all need to do our part in keeping ourselves, our families and our communities safe!
